Discotecture???

When was the last time you stepped into a nightclub and went

"wow...this is the coolest place ever"

I haven't been in a place like that in Sydney but I haven't gone out much to judge.

So what makes people think it's the best nightclub in town, a place that makes people want to return every weekend?

The endless list of drinks? The soul pumping music? The neon flashing lights? The artistically decorated area? The soundproof quiet zone? The spacey spotlighted dance floor? The hand picked handsome looking staff?  The cool network of hipsters?

I don't think a lot of people actually thought about the elements of clubs they go into, it's most probably just the "right vibe".

VICE Magazine & Heineken  is doing a series on Discotecture, discovering all the creative elements that goes into a nightclub.

P.S. The nightclubs in NYC looks so crazy compare to what we have in Sydney...

It's got great range so it'll be really difficult to have a perfect image, because of the amount of coverage it has.

It's pretty sharp although I haven't test it out seriously.

Best to get a subject really close, or get a wide ass landscape shot. It'll be really interesting to take photos that deliberately distorts the perspective. Or secretly take photos of a person (like the last picture).

For the thrill, adrenaline or fun?

After watching all these crazy tricks happening in extreme slow motion, there's no doubt why I wouldn't go into these kind of sport.

And I can't understand why they risk their lives on it.

This is a very creative and interting way to teach you how to make Guacamole a super addictive dip with corn chips.

The sound effects was excellent as well as the creative items used.

It just motivates me to make a this dip myself...lol

How often do you watch the opening titles of a feature film?

How many of them do you even remember?

If you don't remember any of them then the graphic designers ain't doing a mighty job. The director and producer needs to take the blame for it cause the titles are crucial time where the audience decide how much attention to them film.
